JA Biztown Adventures Pilot Program!
Join our new JA Biztown simulations where 5th and 6th grade students learn all about running a business.
Students participate via an online platform and take on the roles of chief executive officer, chief financial officer, marketing director, sales manager, and consumer.
Students learn about topics such as debit/credit cards, filling out a check registry, ethics in business and business management during the five teacher-taught lessons before the simulation begins.
Volunteering with Junior Achievement In-Person or VirtuallyWhere: In a school classroom in our community or via an online platform
Time Investment: Typically one hour, for five days
As a JA Volunteer, you'll be paired with a teacher in a classroom. This delivery method is an effective and popular way to show students a connection between the skills they are learning in the classroom and how they can get a more fulfilling career and life.Learn about
